Create an Archive first — that's an area of life you're picturing. Add photos to it from your camera roll; each one becomes a Vision. Then open the Boards tab, create a Board, choose a layout, and fill its slots from your Archive.

A Vision Board holds the images you're drawn to. Its Reality Board keeps exactly the same composition, but each slot starts in monochrome and waits for a photograph you took yourself. As things actually happen, you swap them in. Your original Vision Board never changes.

Open the board, choose Save & share, and pick a version. Save Image puts it in Photos at phone proportions. From Photos you can set it as your lock screen or home screen in the usual way.

Open Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos › Visionary and choose Full Access, or Limited Access with the photos you want to use. If you picked Limited Access, tap Manage access inside the photo picker to add more. The app rechecks permission each time you return to it.

Tap Restore Purchase on the unlock screen, signed in to the same Apple ID you bought with. You won't be charged again. If it doesn't restore, check you're signed in to the right Apple ID in Settings — that's the usual cause.

Refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us, so we can't issue one directly. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com and Apple will review it. Email us too if something went wrong — we'd like to know.

Everything is stored on the device, so restoring a new iPhone from an iCloud or encrypted Mac backup brings your Archives and Boards with it. Your purchase restores separately via Restore Purchase. There's no account, so there's no live sync between two devices in use at once.

Nothing you create ever leaves your device — no photographs, no boards, and there's no account. The app does connect to the internet for two things: showing the purchase screen, and completing that purchase through Apple. There's no advertising and no cross-app tracking. The privacy policy sets out exactly what that involves.

Visionary is an iPhone app and needs iOS 18 or later. It installs on iPad and runs in iPhone compatibility mode, but it isn't designed for the larger screen.
